Photography | Styling | Art Direction | Rental for Studio, Props, Backdrops and Dishware
The studio was founded by Aalok, who was in the midst of writing his cookbook (still under process!) and taking photos for it - this led to a few cameras, some equipment, lights, an abundance of ceramics and a team of crazy passionate people at a cozy studio located in Indiranagar. In the past years, we’ve progressed into taking food photos from clients everywhere- from grandmothers kitchens who are selling their secret recipes or big giants like kingfisher.
We dive deep into photography and would love to put your recipes “in motion“ if you like. Our mission is to develop into a collective of artists related to all things food- photographers, stylist, bloggers, videographers, chefs, etc. It’s our experiences and knowledge of food and products that assure our clients are happy with our work. We are your one-stop source for your food photography needs.
Aalok Das
It all began for Aalok when he started thinking of making something more than Maggie in University. This gave him the idea of writing a step by step photo oriented cookbook for amateurs which led him to learning both photography and cooking. Cut to a couple of years down the line, Aalok ended up merging both of his passions and brought 4burner.studio to life. You can look up some sample recipes on his website - www.looklearncook.com.
Snehal Kanodia
Although she grew up in Bangalore, Snehal was drawn to the bustling life and colours presented by the streets of Kolkata during college. And there she began her journey with a camera. With a masters degree in photography, Snehal spreads her enthusiasm for what she likes to call, “organised aesthetics“ which we think means pop-arting everything. She is the person who brings out all the out-of-box ideas to our shoots.
Sanskriti Bist
If you ever come by to the studio during lunch time, the girl cooking in the kitchen will be should be called Sanskriti. Galettes, tarts, and lots of Korean food are always in the fridge for you to devour. She began cooking at home while pursing her Communication Studies degree and works as a food stylist in the studio.
Terrence Manne
With a longing to document the Himlayan North that drew him to picking a camera up, Terrence ended up discovering many avenues within photography and film, merely by chance. A sworn graduate of the Youtube generation of visual artists, he learnt his skills almost exclusively from the likes of Peter McKinnon & Co. Terrence is always looking for a chance to shoot a spicy B-Roll Sequence or is slapping a edit on pretty much anything he lays his eyes on.

Always tinkering with different lighting setups, this photographer turns every shoot into a cool visual experiment. He’s all about making pictures pop with a touch of light magic, creating scenes that feel effortlessly awesome.
